New: QuickBooks Online sync, plus Google Calendar and Contacts

JobVivi now syncs customers, invoices, and jobs to QuickBooks Online, mirrors your schedule to Google Calendar, and keeps customer records aligned with Google Contacts. Your bookkeeper will notice.

Three integrations ship today: QuickBooks Online sync, Google Calendar sync, and Google Contacts sync. Together they close the loop between where your work happens and where your books, calendar, and address book already live.

QuickBooks: the end of double entry

If your bookkeeping ritual involves retyping the week's invoices into QuickBooks — or exporting CSVs and praying the columns line up — this is your feature.

Connect your QuickBooks Online account and JobVivi keeps the two systems aligned: customers, invoices, and job data flow across so that what you billed in JobVivi is what your books say you billed, without a human in the middle. Payments recorded against a JobVivi invoice show up where your accountant expects them. Come January, "getting the books ready" stops being a weekend.

Two design choices worth knowing:

  • Auto or manual — your call. Run continuous sync and forget about it, or trigger sync manually if you (or your bookkeeper) prefer to review batches before they land in the ledger. Both are first-class modes.
  • Import works too. Already have years of customers living in QuickBooks? Pull them into JobVivi in one pass and start scheduling against your real customer base on day one, instead of rebuilding it by hand.

The quiet benefit is error class elimination. Every manually re-keyed invoice is a chance for $840 to become $480. Sync doesn't make typos.

Google Calendar: your schedule, everywhere your life already is

Jobs scheduled in JobVivi now appear on your Google Calendar automatically. That sounds small until you remember what your phone's calendar actually is: the one place your work day, your dentist appointment, and your kid's game already coexist.

Now the 8 AM glance at your phone shows the whole truth. Double-booking yourself because the job schedule lived in one app and your life lived in another — done. It also means every calendar surface you already own (watch, car screen, the widget on your home screen) is now a JobVivi display for free.

Google Contacts: one address book, not three

Customers you add in JobVivi sync to Google Contacts, which means when a customer calls, your phone shows "Marisol Vega — Oakwood Dr" instead of a bare number. Answering a customer by name, already knowing which property they're calling about, is a two-second experience that reads as remarkably professional from the other end of the line.

It also future-proofs your data the boring, correct way: your customer list exists in your own Google account, portable, not held hostage inside anyone's software. Including ours. That's on purpose.

Setup and the usual footnote about pricing

Each integration connects in Settings with the standard Google or Intuit sign-in — a couple of minutes apiece, no API keys, no consultant. And per house policy: these are included in paid plans, not sold as an "accounting connector" add-on. Integrations that move your own data between your own systems shouldn't be a profit center.

Connect QuickBooks before your next billing cycle and this month's books close themselves. Well — closer than they ever have.
