New: eight invoice templates and batch invoicing

Your invoice is part of your brand. JobVivi now ships eight professionally designed invoice templates — from Classic to Bold — plus batch invoicing for knocking out a week of billing in one pass.

Two upgrades to invoicing land today: a set of eight professionally designed invoice templates, and batch invoicing for creating a stack of invoices in one pass. Both are live now.

An invoice is a brand document. Yours might be the default.

Think about the paper trail a customer keeps from working with you. The estimate, maybe a text thread — and the invoice. The invoice is often the last thing they see, right before they decide what to write in the review or whether to hand your name to a neighbor.

And most field service invoices look like a fax from 2004. Not because the businesses don't care, but because their software offered one layout, take it or leave it — or gated the presentable ones behind a plan upgrade.

JobVivi now includes eight templates: Basic, Standard, Modern, Professional, Bold, Classic, Compact, and Creative. They range from a spare, ink-light layout that prints clean on any home printer, to a confident full-color design that looks at home next to a landscape architect's proposal. Your logo, your colors, your terms and footer message — pick once in Settings and every invoice you send wears it.

Starter includes two of the designs; Pro includes all eight. There's no per-template pricing because charging you monthly rent for a document layout is exactly the kind of thing we started this company to not do.

Batch invoicing: billing day in one sitting

If you run recurring work — weekly mowing, biweekly cleans, monthly pool service — you know the end-of-week ritual: open each completed job, generate the invoice, check it, send, repeat until your coffee's cold.

Batch invoicing collapses the ritual. Select a set of completed jobs — a customer's whole month, a crew's whole week — and JobVivi generates the invoices in one operation, each one pulling its line items straight from the job records. Review the stack, send the stack. Twenty invoices now takes about as long as one used to.

It pairs deliberately with the automation side of the house: jobs can auto-invoice on completion if you want zero-touch billing, while batch invoicing covers the businesses that prefer a human eye on everything before it goes out. Both camps are right; now both are fast.

The details that got sweated

  • Consistent math everywhere. Templates are layouts, not logic — line items, tax, discounts, and deposits compute identically no matter which design you choose. Switching templates never changes a number.
  • PDF-perfect. Every template renders to a clean PDF for the customers (and accountants) who live in attachments.
  • Pay button included. Whatever the design, the online-payment link rides along, feeding the same Stripe, Square, or PayPal setup you already use.

Head to Settings → Invoice Template to pick your look, and try batch invoicing from the Invoices screen the next time billing day rolls around. If you finish before the coffee's cold, that's the intended experience.
